HANDLOOM - Welcome to a world where every thread is a story, and every creation is a masterpiece.

This beautiful craft has been in existence for over centuries dating back to the days of the Sri Lankan Kings, who enjoyed and celebrated this craft with respect. It has been passed down from generation to generation in the Dumbara Valleys of Kandy, Sri Lanka where the craftman villages thrive. To this day, it is being practiced by the descendants of the original artisans of the olden times, with pride and passion. Hence the art of Dumbara handloom weaving is a hereditary skill carrying a rich legacy of culture.

Our Artha artisans transform simple threads into breathtaking designs, that can be incorporated into cushions, tablecloths, shawls and other homeware items. Their hands, weathered by years of experience, possess an intuitive understanding of the art of weaving, turning each piece into a masterpiece of texture, color, and design.

Artha focuses on celebrating this craft and create a long-lasting impact to its consumers through the products created, so that this beautiful tradition may sustain in the years to come. In a world of mass production. Artha handloom creations stand as a beacon of handmade excellence, honoring the art of our artisans and bringing their intricate creations to homes around the world. Each piece is not just an accessory; it's a labor of love, a manifestation of the artisan's dedication to the timeless beauty that elevates the ordinary into the extraordinary.

ARTHA Organite Tea Collection

ORGANITE tea originates from small-scale forest tea gardens nurtured by communities as an authentic practice in the mid country of Sri Lanka. ORGANITE is a fusion of the words "organic" and "the". The tea is manufactured through the precise handpicking of the two leavesand the bud, known as "Pekoe", and the handmade process followed by the villagers enhances the fragrance and flavour of a tea cup to refresh the human mind and soul. Every cup of tea you taste empowers these communities for their efforts.
